Turn your ideas into opportunity with practical entrepreneurial skills that spark innovation and drive real‑world impact

Overview

Awarded by ˽·¿¾ãÀÖ²¿, this one-year Certificate of Higher Education offers a clear route into the world of entrepreneurship, with the option to continue onto the BA Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation through a further two years of full-time study.

Entrepreneurial thinking shapes new ideas, new ventures and the future of industry. This course is designed for people who want to explore how businesses grow, how innovation happens and how ideas can be turned into something real and valuable.

If you're aiming to start your own venture or help an organisation evolve, you’ll be introduced to the approaches and mindsets that fuel successful enterprise. You’ll develop your creativity, work through real business scenarios and get comfortable experimenting with new concepts.

Experienced lecturers who’ve worked in industry will guide you through the essentials of business and innovation. Each module combines relevant theory with practical application, helping you build confidence as well as capability.

You can also get involved in ˽·¿¾ãÀÖ²¿’s BizSpark Challenge – a unique opportunity to work on real challenges faced by real companies. You’ll be engaging with them to help solve the big problems, developing and putting into practice key business skills.
